Corporate Governance, Social Responsibility and Business Ethics in one model.
There is no such thing
as business ethics.
There is only one kind –
you have to adhere
to the highest standards.
Marvin Bower
EBEN responds to the need of modern business (private or public sector) to operate effectively within the principles
of Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility by developing the Responsible Management Excellence (RME) model, which has been applied for about 10 years to a significant number of companies and organizations operating in different sectors.
RME is based on Aristotle’s logic that “excellence is a habit” and “leadership needs Ethics (Business Ethics), Reason (Management Systems), Passion (Passion for Ethics) to achieve Sustainability“.
Following this holistic approach of Aristotle (Greek philosopher 384-322 BC, Teacher of Alexander the Great), EBEN’s RME is based on two main pillars, Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility, which focus on the Company’ s Code.
The model consists of 10 basic criteria (which are divided into a total of 50 sub-criteria and cover all the activities and processes of an organization) and incorporates modern systems & international practices, taking into account local values, international principles, compliance and transparency issues.
Corporate Governance is divided into Business Analysis, Business Performance, Internal Audit and Regulations &
Communications in the above areas.
Social responsibility is divided into Environmental actions, Social activities, Results of Economic stability and Regulations & Communications related to the above actions.
Corporate Governance (CG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intersect with the Corporate Code, which is considered the heart of the model.
Certification RME:
Businesses and organizations participating in different levels of achievement receive valuable tools both to improve their operations and to save and utilize their resources and become part of a wider team with common values and vision.
When business ethics excellence
leads the corporate identity
Live your life
as though
your every act
were to become
a universal law
Immanuel Kant

We can regain or gain confidence by using the resources we have and modern tools tailored to our capabilities.
In fact, there is no such a dilemma, it is just a one-way street. The company that wants to thrive, must be willing and be able to change, to improve.
Conceptually, trust hides a number of factors that influence significantly the decision of a consumer to choose a service or product.
Especially in the service sector, there is more and more talk through the press about the trust we need to regain.
Enhancing its reliability towards the Customer
Eliminate organizational weaknesses that waste resources
Stimulating competitiveness
Strengthening the profile
The company can only be dynamic and extroverted in order to survive. Let’s not forget that today’s customers are more and more demanding and informed, for example, even about environmental issues that are often one of the factors shaping the opinion about the profile of the company with which they will work.
The application and use of tools such as the quality systems of the ISO series, the European certification EFQM, the business ethics model EVEN GR enables the small and large business to become more extroverted, better organized, saving resources and, above all, better shielded against difficulties to face.
Today, more and more companies participate in programmes and actions of corporate social responsibility.
The social profile and the sensitivity of the company towards social issues constitute an important feature of its identity.
The consumer is undoubtedly influenced positively and prefers eventually products or services of companies which present a significant social activity.
In a wider sense, the certification of small and big businesses EBEN GR (European Business Ethics Network) constitutes a part not only of corporate social responsibility, but also of business ethics, according to the relevant model.
has a social activity within the framework of its capabilities,
implements systems that support its structure,
cares for the environment,
is extrovert,
is innovative
